AIC County Achievement & Local Government Cooperation Awards
These prestigious awards are given out each year during the Association of Indiana Counties annual fall conference. You may view professionally produced video of past award winners at
Counties that win the County Achievement Award must demonstrate that the project meets the following criteria:
  • Substantial leadership to plan and complete the project
  • It can be utilized by other counties.
  • It resulted in cost savings or increased efficiency and effectiveness of government.
  • It was a creative approach to finding solutions for a difficult problem.
Counties that win the Local Government Cooperation Award must demonstrate that the project meets the following criteria:
  • Cooperation between one or more municipalities and counties with a high level of positive collaboration
  • Innovation
  • Positive impact on the community and the participating governmental units
  • Potential for the activity to serve as a model for other local governments

AIC College Scholarship Awards

The AIC has partnered with two AIC Associate programs to help children of county government employees to afford the cost of college through scholarship assistance. Nationwide Retirement Solutions and SRI, Inc. each contribute $2,000 dollars to this scholarship fund. Specific criteria can be found in the applications below.
